TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHEN WORKING WITH US IN ORDINARY COURSE OF BUSINESS

ORDERS

Opening orders must be a minimum of £150, unless a special offer is in place.

Repeat orders are minimum £120.

You may get a split delivery, especially if you order across our brands. You will not incur any additional carriage charges if your order is not delivered complete. When we are aware new designs are not available for more than 6 weeks we will ask you to reorder and these items will not be kept on back order.

 

ACCOUNTS AND CREDIT TERMS

First 2 orders are pro forma after which credit terms are offered subject to credit checks.

Accounts are required to have an annual spend of £600 to maintain credit terms.

Our credit terms are strictly 30 days

Invoices over 30 days may be sent to debt recovery without notice. Costs will be your liability.

If credit terms are not adhered to your account will revert to pro forma

RETENTION OF TITLE

All goods delivered remain the property of Northlight Design Ltd until they are paid for.

Northlight Design Ltd reserve the right to enter the buyer’s premises to take back goods delivered but not paid for.

The buyer should adequately insure goods delivered and in their possession against any loss or damage.

A copy of the insurance certificate must be supplied if requested.

If the buyer is bankrupt or goes into administration payment for any goods will become immediately due and payable.

We do not accept cheque payments

CARD PAYMENTS

We accept all cards except Amex. Please call 01235 848192 and quote Account name and Invoice number

 

PRICING

Due to current volatility in exchange rates we review our pricing every 3 months. If price lists change we will give 30 days notice. Please ensure you take note of emails sent from us advising of price changes.

Up to date price lists are always available via our wholesale website. Please email us for password to view price lists.

 

DAMAGES

All damages must be reported within 3 days of receipt of order. Please contact us for authorisation before returning any items. All returned items must be in original packaging, not shop soiled and un-priced.

 

CARRIAGE

UK MAINLAND

Carriage is paid on orders over £350.

Orders under £350 are charged as follows:

1 box under 5kg - £7.00  More than 1 box with total weight under 5Kg - £8.50

Orders 5kg-10kg - £8.50

Orders over 10kg - £12

BRITISH ISLANDS  AND NORTHERN IRELAND

Carriage is £20 up to 15kg. Orders over 15kg will be charged at cost – a quote will be supplied.

IRELAND AND OVERSEAS

Carriage is charged dependent on weight and location. We will supply you with a quote or you can arrange your own collection.

 

IMAGES AND CATALOGUES

Please email info@northlightdesign.co.uk to request images. We are unable to supply images for products you have not ordered.

If you require hard copies of catalogues please email info@northlightdesign.co.uk

Please note not all brands supply large quantities of catalogues therefore availability is dependent on what we have been sent. Current catalogues are always available to view on our wholesale website www.northlightdesign.co.uk
